Is the www.endwrench.com site down?

The short answer is, yes, endwrench.com is down. It may now be used to host spyware so we do not suggest visiting the site. Subaru used to maintain the site, but no longer does, as of about 2010. You can find some of the articles it had here: EndWrench.com articles and PDFs.

Is the www.endwrench.com site down?

Has anyone noticed that the www.endwrench.com site is down? It is just showing registrar.com ads and I can't access any of the PDF files.

Hello mongoOutback.  Yes I

Hello mongoOutback.  Yes I just noticed too when trying to access www.endwrench.com that it is just showing ads instead of the normal content.  It looks like their domain registration expired.  It looks like they had a 10 year registration from 12/7/2000 to 12/7/2010, so it just expired.  Must be when it expires registrar.com just starts showing advertisements on the person's site.  I just contacted Subaru about this issue so hopefully they'll renew their endwrench.com domain before someone else snatches it up!

But if you're looking for

But if you're looking for anything specific from EndWrench.com, let me know.  I have most of the PDF's saved on my computer because they are so valuable.  I also have many articles from a few years back that they have since removed from the site.  I think after the lifetime of the vehicle, about 10-15 years, they start removing the old articles.  But as we know, SUBARU's just keep on ticking!

I am trying to get endwrenchs

I am trying to get endwrenchs PDF files for a 98 Subaru forester. If you have them could you email them to Schnazlnflanger@yahoodotcom?

Hello! Did you have any

Hello! Did you have any specific areas you were looking for on the 1998 Subaru Forester? The Endwrench articles were more organized by subject area such as transmission, engine, brakes, etc., rather than by specific model year.  Were you were looking for specific Subaru repair information?

Also the response I got from Subaru about Endwrench.com is that they are no longer planning to support the site. Someone else said they heard indirectly that the person who was running the site took early retirement or something like that. I was going to try to get the domain but then the minimum bid jumped to $400 which was a bit more than I could swing.
